Inkopolis

It is a beautiful morning in Inkopolis, the birds are chirping, many Inklings are going in and out of stores, others are coming in to the tower for Turf Wars, and the Squid Sisters are making their daily morning news show.

(Gonna be using my inkling sona for this fer now.)

A female inkling with pink colored tentacles stretched and put on her apron. "Another day at work...I can smell the Coffee already!" She walked into the cafe directly underneath the Squid Sisters' broadcasting room, flipping the 'Closed' sign to 'Open' and put on a big smile; After all, those Octo Pies weren't gonna serve themselves!

A tall hooded figure stepped into the little coffee shop, the little ring from the bell rung.

A white inkling with red hair steps in front of the hooded figure, light flashing off a pair of shades on his head.  "Sorry about this," he said, "I really need to get going, I need my coffee."

The Inkling is wearing a dark blue, high tech, suit with a helmet attached to his back, ready to be flipped up at a moment's notice.

"Mind if I cut in front of you?"

The hooded figure looks over his shoulder.

"Yea, sure" The figure steps to the side allowing the Inkling to pass.

"Thanks mate," The inkling with the suit said, "I'm almost late." He orders his own cup of coffee and sits back to wait for the coffee to be delivered to him.

"My name's Jace, by the way." He says, holding out a hand.

"No problem. The name's Derik." The hooded figure extended his hand and shook the Inkling's hand.

"So where are you off to this fine morning?" Jace said, stretching as his coffee came out. He took the coffee and took a sip, "Good stuff here." He set a few extra coins on the table for the inkling with pink hair.

"No where in particular, just looking around the city and such. I've actually been here before." Derik responded

"You live around here or something?" Jace took another sip of coffee.

"No. I just came to his city." Derik said looking out the window

"Well I hope you enjoy yourself here." Jace tossed a few coins on the counter again, "for you." He said to the pink haied inkling, and walked out the door. He walked on over to the tower and flipped up his helmet, ready to get his business done over at the tower.
